Unsusa Temple Buddha Triad

Cultural property No. 43 - Unsusa Temple Buddha Triad Unsusa Temple Buddha Triad shows mixed features of figures and shapes of the Buddhist art, which reflects the era from the late 1800s through modern times. It is highlighted by some characteristics such as Budda's mudra (hand gestures) which has both hangmain (hand gestures represent to conquer the devil) and seolbeopin (hand gestures while preaching) at the same time; uncertain figure of Buddhist saints who stand on either side of the Buddha; white brilliance of the Buddha; and a rising lotus-flower pedestal. The record tells the production date (the 11th year of KwangMu era, 1907) and the painter (Geumeobigu 敬崙), which are valuable information to research then-Buddhist paintings.
